Moissanite

Is moissanite a real gemstone?

Yes. Moissanite is silicon carbide — a real mineral first discovered in a meteor crater in 1893. Today it's grown in labs with extraordinary precision. It has its own identity, independent of diamond.

Will it pass a diamond tester?

Modern moissanite passes standard thermal-conductivity diamond testers. It does not pass a dual moissanite/diamond tester, which is the tool professional jewelers use. We're upfront about this. Moissanite is its own stone.

Will it get cloudy or fade?

No. Moissanite is a 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale — second only to diamond. It won't cloud, fade, or lose fire with wear. A grandchild could inherit your engagement ring looking exactly the way it did on day one.

Is it better than cubic zirconia (CZ)?

By a mile. CZ is softer (8.5), clouds over time, and has less fire. Moissanite is harder, more brilliant, and actually lasts. The two are not comparable.

How much is shipping?

Free. Every order, no minimums, no codes.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery is 7–15 business days for the US and 10–20 business days for Canada and Australia.

Where do you ship?

United States, Canada, and Australia. Orders to Canada and Australia may be subject to local customs fees or import duties at delivery — these are the recipient's responsibility.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You'll get a tracking link by email the moment your order ships.

Sizing and fit

How do I know my ring size?

Check our Size Guide. Between sizes, go up half a size.

Can I get a ring resized?

We don't resize pieces after shipping. We do exchanges within 30 days at no cost — just email hello@shopstoneblvd.com.

Care and warranty

How do I clean my piece?

Warm water, a drop of dish soap, and a soft toothbrush. Rinse, pat dry. Once a month is plenty for everyday wear.

Can I shower with it?

Technically yes — moissanite and sterling silver handle water fine. But soap buildup dulls sparkle over time. Take it off for swimming, showering, and sleeping to keep it brilliant.

What's the warranty?

One year against manufacturing defects. Normal wear, accidents, and damage from improper care are not covered. See our Terms.

Payment and returns

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Shop Pay Installments on eligible orders.

What's your return policy?

30 days on unworn, full-price items in original packaging. Sale items and earrings are final sale. Email hello@shopstoneblvd.com with your order number and we'll send return instructions. Anything that arrives damaged, incorrect, or never arrives is always covered — including final-sale items.

Do I get a refund in cash or store credit?

Cash — back to the payment method you used, within 5–7 business days of us receiving the return.
