No — moissanite is its own gemstone (silicon carbide), not a diamond and not a cheap “fake.” It is a distinct lab-created stone prized for extreme brilliance. It actually throws more colored fire than a diamond because it bends light more, and at a fraction of the price. To the eye it reads as a bright, white, ice-clear stone.

Every Stone Blvd piece is set with D-color (the top, fully colorless grade), VVS1-clarity, brilliant-cut moissanite. That means a colorless, eye-clean, maximum-sparkle stone on every ring, chain, earring and bracelet we sell.

Most moissanite passes a standard thermal diamond tester because it conducts heat similarly to diamond. Dedicated moissanite testers can tell the two apart. Either way, the brilliance is real and visible from across the room.

Pieces come in white gold, yellow gold, rose gold and sterling silver tones over durable bases. Keep them dry, take them off before showering, swimming or the gym, and store them in a pouch — and the finish stays bright for everyday wear.

Moissanite is a 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale — second only to diamond — so it resists scratching and everyday wear. Clean it with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then pat dry. Avoid harsh chemicals and store pieces separately so metals don’t scratch.
